Stark Drive Reviews

This could be the biggest scam ever. After waiting 4 months, they sent me a so-called 'stock' bike. It wasn't even the same one I had ordered. They said I could return it, but guess what? I had to cover the shipping costs. To make matters worse, there are parts that still haven't arrived even after 5 months. No bike shop wants to deal with these bikes. They'll point fingers at you for any issues. They took my money and ran.

I've been using this for more than a year now, mainly for my daily commute which is about 20 miles round trip.

Pros:
1) It looks pretty sharp.
2) The battery can go for around 40 miles.
3) The price is reasonable, but I really wish they hadn’t hit me with that $200 shipping charge!

Cons:
1) It's super heavy. Honestly, it doesn’t feel like a bike at all. They should make it lighter, like a road bike.
2) Some parts were a bit tricky: I had to replace the brakes, fix the pedal (it came apart while I was riding!), and tighten the latch that folds the bike (yep, that also came apart during a ride!).

If you're considering the motor, go for the powerful one because my 350W 9ah feels sluggish and heavy.

I can't express enough how great the customer support was from this company! We got a bike for my husband for Christmas, but we didn't realize that he missed the chance to customize it to fit his preferences. The customer service team managed to pull back the original order before it went out and helped us figure out which bike he really wanted. Everyone was super helpful and went above and beyond to wrap up our order. The bike was shipped right away, and we got it today. What a fantastic company with wonderful folks!

I've owned a couple of electric bikes prior to this one, and while they were decent, they don't hold a candle to the Stark Drive City. This ride is absolutely fantastic and feels quite upscale. The design is simply stunning, and the performance is unmatched. I love taking long rides on this amazing bike, and there's nothing quite like feeling the breeze in your hair on a crisp afternoon.

The locking system is really smart and saves me the hassle of worrying about someone messing with my battery.

I’d totally suggest giving this a shot, and if folks feel as thrilled as I do, just throw me a thumbs up!

I received it yesterday after quite a wait - relatively speaking - 7 months. Took it out for my commute today and I'm pleased so far. It rides smoothly and keeps a steady pace.

Since I opted for the Advanced model with all the extras, I'm still figuring out how everything works and mostly, which button does what...

I checked the FAQ but didn’t really find any info on 'Getting started' with this bike... any tips?

Also, how can we adjust that maximum speed!?

Awful encounter. The battery life has been less than a few months. This item is low-cost for some solid reasons. The Stark bike didn’t come with delivery, turning it into a costly hassle with Customs fees and all that. They request a delivery address but only ship to the closest port.

This bike is truly fantastic! And super affordable. It's way better than other e-bikes I've tested, plus it has a much nicer appearance. The design is awesome, and folks keep giving me compliments! The only drawback is the excessive number of gears; honestly, you don't really need 21. But other than that, it's a real bargain! I'm loving it!

The service was definitely lacking. Like many of Starks' customers, I can totally understand the stressful, anxious, and helpless vibes that their customer service gave off. I ended up waiting around 6 months for my bike, thinking it would arrive on time, but boy was I wrong. Then, out of the blue, UPS showed up at my door. The product itself is fantastic. It rides like a dream. Just wish it came with an instruction manual.

I finally got to test this bike that a buddy of mine purchased online. It runs super fast and pedaling is a breeze. I was blown away that it costs just 600 bucks (around 38000 rub), you can't even find a decent regular bike for that kind of money in Russia. I'm definitely gonna grab one of these bikes for myself real soon.

I’m really fed up with Stark's approach to annoy negative reviewers by repeatedly asking the same questions on Trustpilot. I seriously doubt they’re doing this for positive reviewers, assuming those folks are even real. I gave them my order number, name, and email, yet not a single inquiry has come my way. What they seem to be doing is undermining my negative feedback while only showcasing the good stuff. Honestly, I think their practices are quite unethical. They should focus on fixing issues for customers instead of obsessing over bad reviews. If they actually cared about their customers, those negative comments would eventually disappear. Maybe it’s just too simple to grasp.

I get that some folks have been waiting a bit for their bikes, but trust me, this is not a scam. I was part of batch 2 and received my bike around a month ago! I absolutely love it! My only bummer is that I didn’t opt for the 500w motor (there are some serious hills near my place and the 350w motor struggles with a few of the big ones), but when Stark releases their torque sensor version later this year, I’ll likely upgrade. If you’re still in the waiting game for your bike - chill out! You WILL get it!
